Lightseekers: RPG Game with AR Trading Cards and Smart Action Figures

Lightseekers is a new RPG game developed by Playfusion, the AR-enabled trading cards and figures make this game a bit special and will take your play to the next level.

Last year, Playfusion announced that they will create a mobile game with AR, trading cards, RPG and other super hot game elements into one game title Lightseekers. Now, the game is available to download.

Lightseekers starts out like a normal RPG game with cartoon visual style. Selecting a character to start the game then go through the normal in-game adventure to level up, collect pets and comanions that fight alongside you. But when you integrate with AR cards, the game improves quite a lot.

Gamers can add optional smart action figures and trading cards that are sold separately and interact via Bluetooth. Various lights on the figures and their accessories will indicate the character’s status in the game. For additional boosts, you can even scan the cards into the game.

The good news is you can still play the game even if you don’t buy any AR trading cards and other game related accessories, those are not required. Overall, Lightseekers is a fun game to play and better gaming experiences will receive with game accessories.
