New DOTA Card Game Artifact Might Be Valve’s First Mobile Game

Valve has just announced a DOTA-themed card game title Artifact will launch sometime in 2018. So far there are still no words about what platforms Artifact will release on, perhaps that could be Valve’s first mobile game. A very short brief teaser trailer was out for the game, watch it now from below.



Artifact has the same worldview as DOTA 2 beside that, the game will have the similar three boards card battle gameplay. Unfortunately, Valve didn’t share too many details about the game. It might feature some MOBA elements like creeps, barrack building and multi-lane strategies. Players are allowed to battle with up to five heroes. Valve is aiming to create a brand new card game that is different from other traditional card games in the market.


A new expansion will launch later this week with more details, stay tuned and we will keep you posted on MoboPlay.
