Square Enix has announced a new game called Antique Carnevale. The release date still hasn’t been given by official and additional more details will be shared on July 18. Here are some details on its prologue as well as its first character trailer.

Prologue:

Have you ever thought about the differences between “things” and “living things”?

Or thought about the differences between “dolls” and “people”?

Asking anyone will easily get an answer as such dolls unable to move on their own.

However, that is an invitation to the labyrinth.

Is a person who is unable to move by their own will not a “doll”?

Is a doll that is able to move by its own will not a “person”?

To search for an exit, the adventures find themselves deeply lost…

And then, a young man visits the labyrinth…

Surely he can hear the cries by the “people” that have decayed in the labyrinth.

He will understand the desires of the “dolls” trapped in the labyrinth.

To that young man who stands between people and dolls…

I pray for him.
